CNY DPC,
I have a few details regarding our upcoming November meeting to pass along:
· First, we will NOT be meeting at the Call Center. Instead, we will be meeting Voss Signs in Manlius and the meeting will begin at 10 AM. We have a couple of reasons for the change in venue… at this meeting we’ll be having a demonstration of the new excavator bucket made from HDPE. We’ve discussed this bucket at a few meetings and have arranged for an on-site live demo from the manufacturer. Details about the bucket can be found on their website, www.flexxright.com. Lunch will be provided by Flexx Right and served immediately following the meeting. Voss signs has been an excellent supporter of Dig Safely and the Safety Seminars. Their address is 112 Fairgrounds Dr, Manlius.
· Second, we are due to elect new Council officers our December meeting. Please submit your nominations to me (email is fine) before our meeting next week. We will be reviewing the nominations at the upcoming meeting in preparation for the vote in December. Any “Active” Council member in is eligible for any one of the four offices; Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
· And finally, attached are the most recent call volume stats and the draft agenda for the meeting. Please let me know if there are anything that needs to be added to the agenda by Monday, November 8th.
